Annual Point In Time Count

Bob Mark, MEND Human Services Director, reaching out to an individual living in unsheltered conditions during the annual Homeless Point in Time (PIT) Count on January 30, 2025.

Upper Valley MEND will join Wenatchee Valley service providers in the PIT Count, a nationwide effort to track homelessness. Volunteers conducted surveys in the Upper Valley and Cashmere, engaging with individuals living in unsheltered conditions. Along with resource information, participants received backpacks with warm clothing, toiletries, first aid supplies, and other essentials.

If you are currently unhoused, we want to know! Participating in the Annual Point in Time Count helps agencies know better who needs support and how to provide it.
