Donate a home or property

Transform your property into lasting community impact.

When you donate real estate to MEND, you're not just giving away property—you're investing in the future of the Upper Valley.

Why donate your home or property?

TAX DEDUCTIONS

You may receive substantial tax deductions based on your property’s value, potentially saving thousands in taxes.

AVOID CAPITAL GAINS TAX

You may bypass capital gains taxes that would apply if you sold the property traditionally.

COMMUNITY IMPACT

Your property donation ensures that current and future residents of the Upper Valley can meet their basic needs for food, housing, wellness, and financial security.

What types of property can you donate?

Residential Properties

Single-family homes, condominiums, townhouses, and multi-family properties that can be converted to affordable housing or sold to fund community programs.

Vacant Land

Undeveloped lots that are suitable for future housing development, or which may be sold to create income for MEND’s programs.

Commercial Properties

Buildings that can be repurposed for administrative offices, or sold to support our other programs.

Inherited Properties

Properties you've inherited but don't wish to maintain, allowing you to honor your loved one's memory through charitable giving.
