Alana grew up in California and moved to Leavenworth in 2024. She is passionate about community-based conservation and spent many years studying environmental anthropology and working in outdoor education.

Alana is excited to coordinate MEND's 2025 gleaning season and work alongside our awesome volunteers to reduce local food waste and make nutritious produce more accessible. When she's not working, Alana enjoys backpacking, reading, baking, and making funky little collages.
