Bob Mark | Human Services Director

Originally from Vermont, Bob has been living in the Pacific Northwest since 2000 and working with Upper Valley MEND since 2009. Bob’s background in human service work includes two years as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer with the American Red Cross, and two years as a Community Development Advisor in Zambia with Voluntary Services Overseas. Bob has worn many hats at Upper Valley MEND over the years, starting as an Administrative Assistant and eventually managing the food bank, emergency assistance and gleaning programs. Bob’s current role as Human Services Director is a natural progression for his time with the organization, and involves overseeing MEND’s programs related to food, wellness, economic security and housing stewardship.
