Kaylin Bettinger | Executive Director
Kaylin Bettinger has served as Executive Director of Upper Valley MEND since 2016. During her tenure, she has overseen significant growth and change across the organization. Notable examples include expanding the thrift store, improving the food pantry's operating model, launching a new rental housing program, growing the homeownership program, and expanding financial assistance services to include a full-time social worker on staff. Kaylin has loved watching the organization professionalize and grow into an ever-greater asset to the community during her time here.
Kaylin holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism from Western Washington University, with minors in Spanish and Teaching English as a Second Language, and a Nonprofit Management Certificate from the University of Washington.
Outside of work, you can find Kaylin on skis or her bike in the Cascades, spending time with her husband and two wonderful daughters, and enjoying the company of friends.
