Meleah Butruille
Meleah came to the US when she was 11 years old. As a first-generation immigrant, she has lived experiences that have helped her become the person she is today. She is passionate about helping and uplifting those who are in need. She has pursued a career in Nursing, and has worked in hospitals and clinics. Meleah became a nurse practitioner and practiced for a short time in Wenatchee before becoming a nursing instructor at Wenatchee Valley College (WVC). She has taught at WVC since 2009 and recently transitioned from her tenured faculty role to become the Acting Dean of Allied Health and Professional Technical Programs.
Meleah has always admired the work at Upper Valley MEND and is honored to serve on the board. She has lived in Leavenworth since 2002 with her husband, Tony. She has two children: Sarah recently graduated from the University of Washington and lives in Seattle, and Evan is attending Western Washington University.
