Rachel is originally from Florida, the land of sunburns and alligators. At the age of 12, she moved to Washington State, where she was in awe over the rain, trees, and mountains. Rachel's background is working with the community through environmental education, connecting folks to the natural world. Rachel joined MEND is 2022 as the Food Programs Manager, overseeing the Community Cupboard, gleaning and grocery rescue. When not working, you will find Rachel outside with her son, husband, and dog.
